KROENKE SAYS 'NO' TO SELLING

Reports in the Sunday Telegraph stated that an investment consortium were prepping a £1.5 billion bid ($2.25 billion) for the take-over of Arsenal Football club.

'Arsenal communications director', Mark Gonnella spoke on behalf of Silent-Stan Kroenke: "Stan Kroenke is committed to Arsenal for the long term and has no intention of selling his stake".

He also added: "There has been no contact from potential investors".

Well, if there is no formal bid on the table then he's obviously going to stand his ground and say no to selling. Lets hope this 'consortium story' is fact, because I don't care how rich you are, when there's £1.5 billion on the table - there will be negotiations of some sort.
