AFC VS SWANSEA (ASHLEY WILLIAMS)

That headline isn't exactly fair to Swansea City; as a whole the Welsh team are definitely a force to be reckoned with!

What Michael Laudrup has done in just under a year is nothing short of amazing. Yes Swansea were on their way under the guidance of Roberto Martinez but Laudrup has brought them quality and stability.

What about their key to success? Could it be down to the home kit that looks deceivingly like Real Madrid's, it that the reason for the boost in morale, is sheer deception the key to confidence? Yeah maybe Not.

But what I do know, is that Swansea are a good team with a handful of exceptional players. Thanks to the Danish manager and footballing legend.

They probably have the transfer coup of the season with Spanish forward Michu; and despite Michael Vorm looking a lot like Andre Santos he's still is a brilliant keeper who's nickname 'penalty Killer' tells it all.

And then we have Arsenal target Ashley Williams...

Ashley Errol Williams is a powerhouse of a defender. A solid frame, pace and agility with a 'get the f*#k out my way' attitude to go with it. That muscle is exactly what we need! A new, Adams, Keown, Bould or Viera type presence to command us from the back line.

The down-to-earth Welsh captain has also played in all four professional divisions as well as the Conference, he's a no nonsense player who knows what it means to fight for your career.

The outspoken defender has already had a little taste of the Arsenal love too!

An incident earlier in the season had Ashley in the news for all the wrong reasons. Well it depends which way you look at it...

In December during Swansea's 1-1 draw with Man Utd, Williams cleared a dead-ball straight into the back of Robin Van Persie's head as he lay on the floor.

"You can clearly see that he could have been killed!' Squealed Sir Alex Feruson.

"Shut up you beetroot-faced baggy-eyed c*#t!" Exclaims myself.

Ok so maybe their was a little bit of pre-meditation behind it, but can you blame him! Christ RVP was just laying there asking for it.
You try and eat an entire sugared-doughnut without once licking you lips. It's impossible!

Commenting on the Twitter reaction to the said incident: "It was funny beacause it was 50%  Manchester Utd fans hating me and 50% Arsenal fans saying sign for us, we love you! I still get it now. Even today an Arsenal fan Tweeted me 'Legend, come and sign for Arsenal'."

And he 'may' do exactly that.

Lets keep a close eye on Williams on Saturday and just hope he doesn't play too well.
