BAYERN vs DUSSELDORF 3 - 2

Bayern Munich scraped through a hard fought win today against 15th place Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The league leaders trailed twice in the match before it was finally put to bed by a Jerome Boateng strike four minutes from time.
Thomas Muller and Franck Ribbery scored the others in the narrow home win.

This is promising news ahead of our Champions League tie at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night. Even though yes Bayern won! And yes they scored three goals!

It's promising purely because Dusseldorf managed to put Bayern under immense pressure, penetrate that ridiculously organized defense of theirs and then put two past Manuel Neuer whom many consider the best keeper in the World.

And it should have been a similar score line at the Emirates had Giroud not squandered his late chance in the first leg to make it 2-2.

We do have mission impossible on our hands, but if the team/fans go into the game believing we're already out then they needn't even get on the plane.

I think we'll go into the match all guns blazing! It's gonna be interesting to see tactically, and for me the fixture is starting to feel a little less daunting. A little.

Peace.
