ALEX SONG REGRETS MOVING

It looks like the grass isn't always greener.

Supposedly Alex Song is looking for a summer return to the Emirates due to his dismal spell in Catalonia.
When he actually manages to get off the bench, the out-of-favor midfielder seldomly plays in his natural DM role but at right back which isn't boding well for the Cameroonian.

At a cut price of around £10 million Song would be a bargain considering the £16 million the Spanish giants paid for him only six months back.

Do we want him back though?

If I got to make decisions it would be a no (damn it!).

Despite reports that he didn't actually want a move and was forced out - I hear that Song thought he'd out-grown Arsenal in the end.
And no I'm not bitter that he left for Barcelona. If Cesc wanted back then I'd stand with open arms because he's a great player.
I don't think Song was at the top of his game when he left us. It was actually good business by Wenger.

He game quickly became sluggish on the verge of lazy, he was producing sloppy passes, consistently giving the ball away and not fighting for it back.
I think fans gave him way too many 'get out of jail cards' toward the end because we were in denial that something in the player had changed drastically. And it's showing at Barcelona too.

I say save the money and go for a younger, tougher, hungrier defensive midfielder like Lucas Biglia, Yan M'Vila, Victor Wanyama, Etienne Capoue or hey, what about Sergio Busquets?
