Feyenoord right back Daryl Janmaat is the newest defender being speculated to succeed Bacary Sagna this summer.
The 23 year-old Dutch international is a tough tacker standing at 6'1", he has good pace and an eye for goal too.
It's reported that both Tottenham Hotshite and Sporting Lisbon are interested in signing the lad also.
The asking price will be somewhere between £4-6 million which is a pretty fair assessment as this boy is supposedly one for the future.
I know that we've seen this kid play four times now which is a good sign for things to come. Steve Rowley first spotted him by accident when we were scouting Jordy Clasie last term. We've been back three additional times now for solely Janmaat's performances.
When recently asked about Arsenal's interest the player sounded a little surprised:
"Arsenal interested in me? I'm only thinking about Feyenoord right now. Much remains to be played this season to start thinking about the transfer market at the end of the season."
I'm hearing that Feyenoord will not stand in the way of Janmaat if he decides to part ways this summer.
