Another important game this Saturday. It may only be against 17th place Aston Villa but we desperately need to bounce back from the Bayern and Blackburn defeats. We also need to close the gap on 4th place Tottenham who currently sit four points ahead of us and don't play West Ham (away) until Monday, hopefully a win at the Emirates could pile the psychological pressure on Spurs at Upton Park.
Bacary Sagna picked up a knee injury after the Bayern tie. Arsene had this to say to the official website:
AW: “Sagna has a problem with his knee. He will be out for Saturday certainly. I don’t think there are any other knocks really.”
And Gibbs is still suffering from his thigh injury which has had him out since January. He will still be a few weeks yet.
