Kieran Gibbs is out for three crucial weeks after coming off in the 37th minute against Liverpool.
"He has a thigh strain that rules him out for the next three weeks. It's a blow for us of course," Wenger said. "He was an important player for us going forward and the game we wanted to play. It's a shame he's out for the next three weeks."
Gibbs will miss games against Stoke, Sunderland and more than likely Bayern Munich too.
That now leaves us with Santos...
I obviously feel for Gibbs, but this really could be a blessing in disguise at it may salvage this horrendous transfer window.
Go buy Baines, please!
