And if poor Gibbsy wasn't taken off yesterday with a thigh injury, it's debatable wether we'd be hearing these rumors regarding Nacho Monreal at all.
The Mail Online is reporting that Monreal is already in London having a medical before penning a transfer for around £8.5 million from Santi's old club Malaga.
The 26 year-old left back who's real name is Ignacio Monreal Eraso, has nine caps for his native Spain, and at 5'10" he isn't the largest man at the back, but as long as he's a better option than Santos, well then I'm happier than a pig in shiz!
I can already hear his name in the terraces...
