DOES FER TO EVERTON, MEAN FELLAINI TO ARSENAL?

Everton have confirmed - on their official website - their agreement to sign Dutch International midfielder Leroy Fer from FC Twente.

The 23 year-old who's nicknamed 'The Bouncer' due to his large stature may be just what the Toffee's need as a replacement, if they were to sell Fellaini to Arsenal that is. Just sayin.

At a reported £8.5 million, Fer has been compared to ex-Gunner Patrick Viera due to similarities both on and off the field.
The young powerhouse stands at 6'2", just two inches shorter than Fellaini.
I think however, Marouane's actually about 5'7" and they've been counting his barnet into the equation this whole time.

Christ, give me a Kid 'n Play hairstyle and you can start nicknaming me 'mini Shaquille'.
Just like Van Persie's kid... Oh wait - that's his real name!

Who names their sprog 'Shaquille?' Seriously. That's child abuse.

Fellaini may cost a pretty penny at around £25 million, but for a seriously established Premier League contender like himself I don't think we should balk at the price.
He definitely has the bite that only Jack Wilshire seems to possess for us right now, and unless we harness that grit and determination and lather it across the whole squad, well then we need to purchase someone who already has it.
And then, maybe we can start focusing past 4th place again.

Anyone who can absolutely 'own' Shawcross (multiple times) like he did that day. Despite the ban etc, he definitely gets an 'A' for effort in my book.

Buy him Wenger!

We know you rate him!

Open the check book!

Restore some faith!

... Please?
