DOES THIS MEAN DRAXLER'S A POSSIBILITY?

Shalke starlet Julian Draxler has been quoted regarding one of his possible suitors.

When asked of the rumors linking himself to Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, the 19 year-old replied:

JD: “I can assure you, with all due respect, that next year I will not play for Borussia, I think this will also apply to the next season."

This is a big boost as the kid is definitely something special for the future. If you don't know much about the midfielder I suggest you check him out on You tube.

FINAL SCORE: AFC - 1 v MAN U - 1

A draw against the champions is not a bad result but my blood is f#ckin boiling none the less!

We now sit in 4th place, 35 games played - 64 points. 1 point less than 3rd place Chelsea and two up on Spurs who still have a game in hand.

The race for 4th is not letting up!

QPR, Wigan and Newcastle remain.

Spurs face Southampton, Chelsea and Stoke.

Chelsea face Man U, Spurs and Aston Villa.

Beet juice helps reduce blood pressure by the way, plus it's red!

COYG!!!!

HALFTIME: AFC - 1 v MAN U - 1

A great start saw Theo slot it past De Gea in only the 2nd minute. Was it a fraction offside. Do I care, the goal stands.

Lots of tempo and apart from a sweet strike from Santi that troubled the keeper was all we had to show for all the pace and effort.

Then, of course every Gooners nightmare!

Robin Van C@nt gets fouled in the box by Sagna in the 44th. Judas steps up and puts a perfectly taken penalty past Szcyesny.

A fairly heated first half will no doubt have a lot more in store in the second.

I just pray that we can come off victorious and that Robin the Rapist's leg falls off!

AFC TARGET TO BAYERN MUNICH. WHAT A SURPRISE!

Mario Gotze is set to be Germany's equivalent of Robin Van Purse-strings when the youngster makes the treturous move from his current club Borrussia Dortmund to bitter rivals Bayern Munich.

Reports are saying that the 20 year-old midfielder has already agreed contract terms with Bayern, this will upset a host of clubs like Man U, City, PSG who were never really in the running for the wonderkid who had always stated his desire to remain in the Bundesliga.

Wenger has coveted Gotze for some time now but with a price-tag of well over £30 million and our shitty form for the past 8 seasons I don't really blame the lad for not finding us all that tempting.
Super Mario had recently spoken out regarding the interest from the Premier League.

MG: “Clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are attractive."

Yeah and with that comment I lost all respect for the kid.
We need players who want to wear the canon and not some glory hunting, money driven Justin Beiber in a football boots.
Problem is - that leaves us pretty much shit out of luck.

GIROUD OUT FOR THE SEASON

The FA have stood by Andre Marriner's decision which means we'll be without Olivier Giroud for the last three games of the season.

The Frenchman's foul on Stanislav Manolev resulted in his marching orders and his claim to the FA for 'wrongful dismissal' was today rejected meaning - Podolski through the middle!

Wishful thinking

Prince Poldi has only featured as a bit-part substitute despite amassing 14 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.

Wenger's reluctance to play the proven International with the best assist record in the PL has been a mystery to Gooners far and wide.

Giroud's three match ban could be a blessing in disguise. Despite a fairly promising first season he's beginning to frustrate in a Gervinho-esque manner of late. Squandered chances have been all too common this season and with Giroud's recent series of blunders, one begs the question of where we'd be in the table had we been able to finnish the ball?

Hindsight is twenty twenty 'n all that.

It now looks like Wenger will be forced to include Podolski and hopefully he'll try the German upfront. With Walcott and The Ox suppling the pace on the wings and Santi pushing through the middle we should have a pretty menacing forward line, the answer to this season-long issue could have been staring us in the face since game one.

SURGERY FOR WILSHIRE

It's bad news for Jack Wilshire. It looks like he's gonna have to go back under the knife this summer to fix that niggling ankle problem.

It is reported that if the surgery does goes ahead it will be to replace a pin in the ankle that has come loose.
The future England hero will surely miss the International friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil and hopefully be rested for the summer by Hodgson so he's fit for the 2014/15 season.

I'm sure Le Prof will have something to say about any International inclusions big Roy has for young Wilshire.

SPURS BEAT CITY, WANT EX-GUNNER

It's that strange time of the year you find yourself rooting for many of the teams you hate.
When Nasri scored the opener against City this morning I couldn't help but romance the perfect insult to the Spurs faithful.

Little did I expect Tottenham to come back and score three in 7 minutes and kill off the tie at 3-1 and see themselves in 5th.

INSULT TO INJURY?

For me - not so much, as reports come out that Spurs are considering move for ex-Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

The Barcelona man is reportedly unhappy at the Catalan club which goes to prove that the grass at the top isn't always greener.
Song apparently wants a move back to the Emirates and I commend Wenger for rightfully turning down.

AW: "My personal advice for him would be to give it another go and after two seasons he can still make a decision."

The Cameroonian DM was seriously waning toward the end of his Arsenal stint, I got the impression he was suffering from a case of the 'untouchables' - he was so comfortable verging on lazy that he believed he wouldn't be replaced,  Thomas Vermaelen woke up to this reality and is yet to retain the form we know he's capable of.

Goes back to that question of dressing room psychology...

SUAREZ SCORES IN THE 97TH! KEEPS US IN THE RACE

Many thanks for the camel-faced Uruguayan for heading home the last touch of the game to equalize the tie at Chelsea 2 Liverpool 2.

The final table looks like:

WAIT, HOW MANY PLAYERS DID WE HAVE?

... Because when Steve Sidwell received a red for his reckless tackle on Arteta after just 12 minutes I was rubbing my hands with glee!

"We're gonna f*#kin batter em!"

Or so we all thought, especially after Chelsea did exactly 'that' at Craven Cottage last Wednesday with their 3-0 inhalation of the derby rivals.

Call me a whining bitch, but when Arsenal tend to get red cards in our favor they always seem to be in the 89th minute or when we're 5-0 up.

In actuality, Fulham's red seemed to handicap us and rejuvenate our rivals.

Only Arsenal.
And I love you like a firstborn son in China, but what the hell is up... And Arsene Wenger's halftime lap of honor...?
He does actually run like Mr Bean! (I read this description in a similar post).

REASON FOR POOR DISPLAY?

Prior to the team selection Wenger was still unsure about many of our first team-ers.
Cazorla, Wilshire, Rosicky and Szczesny were all a doubt, but everyone but the Pole eventually featured, which leads me to defend our poor-formance with excuses of hasty inclusions of unfit players.

And we all know that Wenger wouldn't risk his prized assets unless he really had to. Wilshire's impromptu cameo was definitely out of desperation as the game looked to be slipping between our fingers in the final third.

So why are we so frustratingly inconsistent?

Is it poor team selection, poor individual efforts, poor morale, end of season exhaustion or fitness?

I think it could be a combination of the above; we struggle with the fixtures we should find a breeze and surprise in the games that fall short of on the bookies list. It's bizarre?!

I strongly believe we should approach every game like we're 3-1 down to Bayern Munich, because I feel the real issue at hand may come down to the mentality in the dressing room which begs the next question:

We need a true captain, and for Wenger to pull his head out and rile the team up when it matters.

Mert scoring our only goal in todays vital win.
